"The first rule of Project Mayhem: Do not ask questions"

My weekend: Pretty good.

On Saturday my brother, sister and I went to see ‘Spiderman’! It was really a fantastic movie, I highly recommend it. We also got out some movies, ‘Freddy Got Fingered’, ‘Seven Girlfriends’, ‘Virtuosity’ and ‘Romper Stomper’, all of which were really good (except ‘Romper Stomper’, which I haven’t watched yet).

‘Seven Girlfriends has a beautiful song in it, ‘Anywhere The Wind Blows’ (sung in the movie by Melora Hardin & Tim Daly, and in the closing credits by Lauren Christy)

Too bad, no storm in my teacup
Its so sad, my stockings, they have no runs
I look up, no smoke in the chimney
By the lamplight, I promise this room

Anywhere the wind blows
Anywhere the sea breaks
Anywhere the earth quakes
Let this world explode
Take me to a new place
Got nothing in my suitcase and I’ll go
Anywhere the wind blows
Anywhere the wind blows
I’ll go

I stand, no perfume, no makeup
It’s me, so what if my face is bare
Dressed up in my fathers old sweater
Well I slam the door and run down the stairs

Anywhere the wind blows
Anywhere the sea breaks
Anywhere the earth quakes
Let this world explode
Take me to a new place
Got nothing in my suitcase and I’ll go
Anywhere the wind blows

The rain, it straightens out my hair
And there’s people pouring everywhere
And buses, taxis, phones and faxes
But I’m already there

(Anywhere the wind blows, anywhere the wind blows)

By the lamplight, I promise this room

Anywhere the wind blows
Anywhere the sea breaks
Anywhere the earth quakes
Let this world explode
Take me to a new place
Got nothing in my suitcase and I’ll go
Anywhere the wind blows
Anywhere the wind blows
Anywhere the wind blows

Anywhere the wind blows, I’ll go

Visit www.sevengirlfriends.com (go to the 'soundtrack' section), where you can download both versions of the song. :)

Anyway, on Sunday I was really bored, so my sister Tarryn and I went for a drive down to the Gold Coast. We were driving around for almost 3 hours in total! It was quite fun, even though we got lost quite a few times. :) I’ve never driven for more than half an hour before, so that was interesting. And I’d never put petrol in my car before yesterday, either! My sister had to show me what to do, which was weird, considering she’s 14.

Well, that’s my weekend in a nutshell (Uh-oh, Austin Powers quotes entering my brain!).
